We are partnered with an incredible CNC Machine Tool Builder on their search for Swiss CNC Service Technicians for the New England region! As a Swiss CNC Field Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role in supporting customers by maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities:- Travel to customer sites throughout New England to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools, controls, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
- Utilize manuals, technical documentation, and internal/vendor support to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Clearly communicate equipment status, repairs, and recommendations to customers.
- Accurately complete and submit service and installation reports.
- Ensure customer commitments are met with a high standard of professionalism and technical excellence.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
- Stay informed on new technologies and product updates through ongoing training and technical seminars.
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED from a technical school required
- 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing CNC machinery.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools such as dial indicators and micrometers.
- Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.
- Strong understanding of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail and technical accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software.
- Valid driver’s license required and ability to be a ROAD WARRIOR with travel up to 100% throughout the assigned territory
- Comfortable interacting professionally under pressure with customers and colleagues.
