Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist; SLP - Burlington, VT

A full-time Speech‑Language Pathologist position is available within an elementary school setting in Burlington, VT, covering a maternity leave from April 22, 2026, to June 15, 2026. This contract role offers the opportunity to deliver specialized speech and language support to young learners in an engaging and supportive educational environment.

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary‑aged students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Deliver therapy services on‑site, ensuring compliance with educational standards and best practices.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with families and school staff.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP‑CCC) required.
• Experience working in school settings (SLP‑School) highly preferred.
• Familiarity with pediatric speech and language development (SLP‑Pediatrics).
• Completion or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP‑CFY) recognized.
• Ability to manage a caseload focused on elementary students.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills within multidisciplinary teams.

• Onsite position located in Burlington, Vermont.

• Hourly rate range: $45‑55.
