The Resident Treatment Program at Lund seeks a Weekend Residential Shift Supervisor
, a vital role in supporting pregnant and parenting individuals in our program. The position ensures smooth coordination and implementation of residential programming, fostering a safe, supportive, and structured environment for residents. The Shift Supervisor directly supervises Residential Counselors, providing guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality care and effective interventions.

This is a Friday through Monday, four (4), 10‑hour shifts position. The hourly rate is $27/hr certain days and specific shift hours have eligibility for a $2.50 shift differential.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the initial orientation of new residents.
  • Plan and coordinate client activities and support counseling staff in supervising residents’ daily schedules.
  • Help develop and implement individualized day plans, building strong relationships to enhance communication and trust.
  • Manage the hiring and onboarding of new Residential Counselors and Substitute Residential Counselors, ensuring a well‑trained and engaged team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners (e.g., food services, medical providers, community resources) to ensure residents receive comprehensive support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and demands; work well under pressure; respond to off‑hours crises; travel statewide for meetings; and accommodate flexible hours as needed by a 24‑hour facility.
  • Ability to assist with childcare, including lifting infants and toddlers.
  • Demonstrate creativity, initiative, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a cohesive value system that includes a non‑judgmental attitude regarding reproductive choice, parenting options, and substance‑abusing clients; display caring, responsive, and respectful attitudes toward others.
  • Maintain a valid VT Driver’s License and reliable transportation; occasional statewide travel may be required.
