Acute Residential Counselor Youth - 77 Park Program
Join an innovative team that offers specialized clinical support and therapeutic opportunities to promote healthy social, emotional, and behavioral functioning for adolescent males with trauma histories. The Park Street program is a family‑centered, trauma‑informed residential treatment program located in Rutland, VT.
Responsibilities- Develop therapeutic relationships with residents.
- Implement behavior plans, conflict resolution strategies, and teach emotion regulation skills.
- Assess and adjust the milieu to ensure proper supervision and crisis management.
- Communicate and document treatment progress.
- Model and teach healthy interactions.
- Facilitate community inclusion, daily living, and skill acquisition.
- Engage in activities with residents.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of combined skills, experience, and/or education.
- Valid driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle.
- Full‑time Overnight Shift.
- Union: AFSCME (dues apply).
- Starting at $22.75 per hour plus shift differential.
- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
- 36 days of combined paid time off per year for full‑time employees, increasing with tenure; prorated for part‑time.
