The Community Resiliency Navigator serves as a trusted guide for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, food insecurity, social isolation, and other barriers to well-being.
Based in the Community Resource Center (CRC), the Community Resiliency Navigator uses a strengths-based, trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and culturally responsive approach to partner with participants in identifying goals, addressing immediate needs, building on individual and community strengths, and fostering meaningful connections to housing, benefits, healthcare, employment, education, and other essential resources.
Starting Pay: $30.00-$32.18
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Community Development, or a related field and three (3) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, poverty food insecurity, behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, or other complex life circumstances preferred. Knowledge of CVOEO programs, Coordinated Entry, community resources, public benefits, housing resources, social support programs, and other local service systems preferred.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the CVOEO service area. Ability to uphold safety standards.
