Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Driver role based in the Greater Burlington Area. The Driver will operate company trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently, following all federal, state, and local regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and verifying loads, completing delivery routes on schedule, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation. The role also involves communicating with dispatch, interacting with customers in a professional manner during pickups and deliveries, and reporting any mechanical or safety issues promptly.
Drivers are expected to follow company safety policies, keep vehicles clean and presentable, and support a positive, cooperative work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills with experience operating commercial trucks and maintaining safe driving practices.
- We are seeking drivers with or without a Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, team members, and other road users.
- Customer service skills to interact respectfully and professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections, identify potential mechanical issues, and complete trip logs accurately.
- Dependability in adhering to schedules, following instructions, and maintaining safety standards.
- Ability to lift, move, and secure freight as needed and work in varying weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior regional or local trucking experience is an advantage.
