The City of Burlington, Vermont is hiring a recycling truck operator responsible for collecting recyclables from residents and transporting them to the processing facility. A valid Class B CDL, the ability to lift 75 pounds, and the ability to work in varying weather are required.
You will perform daily truck inspections, drive order-specified routes, reject non-recyclables, and interact professionally with the public and coworkers. Snow removal and street maintenance support may be required.
