Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, Forklift Operator, Stocking
Compensation: $24 an hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
The Order Builder is responsible for preparing customer orders for delivery in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires accurate building and staging of orders, proper handling of product, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.
- Build and stage orders based on pick tickets for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Manually lift and move product to restock and repack, ensuring date‑code accuracy and proper rotation.
- Use manual or powered material‑handling equipment (pallet jack, hand‑truck, etc.) to move product and materials to and from designated locations.
- Adhere to procedures related to product age, quality, and safety.
- Meet productivity requirements.
- Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support efficient warehouse operation.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum 6 months of general work experience required.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience operating manual or powered pallet jacks preferred.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Ability to push and pull equipment containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
- Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.
