Interwest Construction invites applications for a Project Engineer position to contribute to our expanding portfolio of infrastructure projects across Western Washington. This role offers an opportunity to engage in meaningful construction work while developing professional skills within a collaborative team environment.

• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and permit processing
• Maintain accurate project schedules, logs, and as-built drawings
• Assist with field coordination and materials compliance verification
• Support bid processes and subcontractor proposal evaluation
• Contribute to project startup, schedule tracking, and cost control
• Promote safety and quality standards across project phases

• Educational background in Engineering or Construction Management
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Understanding of construction processes and safety practices
• Eligibility for employment verification and drug screening
• Relevant safety certifications (CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection, etc.)
• Experience with construction documentation systems
• Field coordination and layout verification experience
• Problem-solving and proactive work approach
• Effective communication across diverse teams
