Position: Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic and/or IA Mechanics/Avionic Technicians

Role Description

We are currently seeking an experienced A&P (IA rating preferred but no required) with experience in piston singles, light twins, turbine, light to medium jets, and helicopters. This is a full-time, on-site role at our main office at Skagit Regional Airport. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of aircraft to ensure their safety and airworthiness.
  • Diagnosing technical issues.
  • Strict adherence with FAA regulations.
  • Maintaining documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Collaboration with team members.
  • Adherence with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate (required).
  • Proficiency with all aspects of aircraft maintenance, including repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting.
  • Documented experience working with power plant and aircraft systems.
  • Understanding and ability to ensure Airworthiness in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Knowledge of Aircraft operations and components.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with single and twin-engine airplanes, turbo prop, light to medium and helicopter experience a plus.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety, reliability, and high standards in all work performed.
Compensation

A&P Certification:
Starting salary $35-$42 per hour depending on experience

IA/Inspection Authorization Rating:
Starting salary $47-$52 per hour

Avionic Technicians:
Starting salary $35-$50 per hour depending on experience
