Role Description
We are currently seeking an experienced IA Mechanic with experience in piston singles, light twins, turbine, light to medium jets, and helicopters a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role at our main office at Skagit Regional Airport.
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of aircraft to ensure their safety and airworthiness.
- Diagnosing technical issues.
- Strict adherence with FAA regulations.
- Maintaining documentation to ensure compliance.
- Collaboration with team members.
- Adherence with safety and quality standards.
- Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic and IA Certification required
- Proficiency with all aspects of aircraft maintenance, including repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting.
- Documented experience working with power plant and aircraft systems.
- Understanding and ability to ensure Airworthiness in compliance with FAA regulations.
- Knowledge of Aircraft operations and components.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with single and twin-engine airplanes, turbo prop, light to medium and helicopter experience a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining safety, reliability, and high standards in all work performed.
$5000 Sign On Bonus Available***
Starting salary $48-$52 per hour
