Fire Protection Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented Fire Protection Engineer with a minimum of five years of experience to perform consulting services for internal and external clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and multiple projects concurrently are required.

Technical

Skills:

• Automatic suppression system design
• Fire detection, alarm, and communication system design
• Code analysis and egress analysis
• Fire‑resistant construction analysis
• Smoke control analysis
• General fire protection and life safety concepts and research

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Perform analysis of existing fire protection systems and design new fire protection systems, including suppression, detection, alarm, and mass notification systems.
• Conduct building and fire code analysis and interpretation.
• Lead and manage an internal team to provide well‑coordinated and high‑quality design sets.
• Maintain profitability of projects and nurture client relationships.
• Research and document findings for internal and external distribution.
• Participate in local and national trade organizations such as SFPE and NFPA.
• Engage in business development activities and foster long‑term client relationships and generate new business.
• Develop project budgets and write proposals.

Expected annual salary of $95,000 - $145,000+.
