Job Description Summary of PositionThe Quality Lead Handis responsibleforoverseeingthe team of Quality Techniciansregardingthe development and administration of internal and external processes and regulations, protocols, and policies. This role will help create andmaintaintest data andperformtesting and reports results to ensure a consistent, high standard of quality for company processes and products.
This position is for Pitman Night shift, a rotating 12-hour shift that runs 6pm-6am.
- Ensure compliance with industry, government and company-specific regulations related to the quality of product and the proper performance of day-to-day activities.
- Oversee detailed inspections of raw materials, semi-finished and finished modules at various phases of production and throughout the manufacturing processes.
- Create statistical analysis and reports on the quality of raw materials and finished product.
- Reduce the production of scrap using in-depth analysis and process improvement.
- Develop quality controls and Work Instructions (WIs) in cooperation with the management team.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining quality records for review of completeness and accuracy to meet both internal and external expectations.
- Monitor process performance and accordingly suggest improvements to the leadership team on the production recipes for various steps of the process. Implement approved corrective measures.
- Ensure the consistent quality standards of the finished product.
- Monitor variations in scrap products and out of specification raw materials that are rejected at various steps of production. Make statistical evaluations and define corrective actions.
- Maintain ongoing defect prevention activities through FMEA and Risk Assessment reviews.
- Assist in reducing downtime in production.
- Perform process and management system audits.
- Apply statistical techniques to process control, experiments, or CI projects.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers when required, going to customer sites as needed.
- Review equipment calibration, validation, and maintenance records to ensure they are performed correctly and on time.
- Write QAR’s and train employees on processes.

- 3+ years of experience at a Quality Lead in a high‑volume, manufacturing environment.
- Six sigma Green Belt, preferred.
- PV solar Module manufacturing experience, preferred.
- $26- $31/hour
