We are seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician at our Burlington, WA location. The position begins with an initial day shift or modified schedule for training purposes, after which the technician will work a 3rd shift. A shift differential of $2.00 per hour applies when working 3rd shift.
Responsibilities- Maintain the integrity of the facility by following applicable specifications and standards and using in‑kind components, materials, and practices for repair and service work.
- Work safely to solve problems and contribute to overall plant efficiency.
- Analyze problems at the facility to determine causes, disassemble and repair components, tools, and equipment.
- Use fabrication skills to make repairs and improvements to team areas and production equipment.
- Provide prompt and courteous responses when servicing equipment and aiding internal customers.
- Work overtime, on‑call, and call‑back as needed to support plant operations.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair components on electrical equipment up to 480 volts.
- Work in a team environment to reach consensus decisions within established company guidelines and boundaries.
- Utilize JSAs, lock‑out/tag‑out, and other safety tools, including personal protective equipment, to perform job assignments safely and efficiently.
- Support plant safety and quality objectives.
- Participate in plant/team lean and organizational activities.
- High school diploma or GED required; a degree from a technical college is a plus.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in two or more of the following skill areas: fabrication, welding, industrial controls, electrician/industrial electrician, plumber, machinist, mechanic, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems electrician.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn is required.
- Knowledge of how to use machines such as mills, lathes, and drill presses is preferred.
- Strong machining, welding, and fabrication skills are preferred.
- Experience in repair and fabrication of industrial equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of precision machines, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration is desired.
- Familiarity with installing, troubleshooting, and programming industrial control systems (e.g., PLCs) is preferred.
- Training in electronic component troubleshooting and repair is a plus.
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety precautions, operating and maintenance instructions, technical manuals, and procedure manuals.
- Require frequent use of hands, long walking throughout the day, and periods of standing, crouching, and kneeling.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 40 lbs.; sustained 65 lbs. initial for hands‑on tasks.
- Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Summary pay range: $35.43 – $40.79 hourly wage rate.
