Job Summary
Hexcel is seeking a CNC Operator at its Burlington, WA location. The position is primarily 2nd and 3rd shift with no previous CNC experience required – training will be provided.
Full‑time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays and paid time off. The pay range is $23.96–$34.53 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Operate industrial equipment, primarily 5‑axis milling machines; also band saws, industrial ovens, and other equipment.
- Prepare and load tools and parts onto the machines.
- Follow process and work instructions.
- Inspect product to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Work in a team environment to produce high‑quality composite parts in a timely manner.
- Operate independently and maintain a high degree of detail and accuracy.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proof of U.S. Person status must be presented prior to hire.
- Stable work history, preferably in manufacturing, and ability to work well with others in a team‑oriented environment.
- A minimum of six months experience with hand and power tools preferred.
- Must be able to work all shifts and have a willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Post‑offer drug test required.
- Eligible candidates must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, temporary resident under specified sections, refugee status, or person granted asylum.
- Regularly stand; manual dexterity; reach with hands and arms.
- Walk, talk or hear frequently.
- Occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; push/pull 40 lbs. sustained and 65 lbs. initial force for hands‑on tasks.
- Close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
