Job Summary:

Kelly is looking for a Production Technician for a premier company in Burlington, WA. As a Production Technician at our state-of-the-art LVL Manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in producing engineered wood for structural buildings across the United States and internationally. Job Specifications: – Job Type: Full-time – Pay Rate: $20 per hour (Day Shift), $21 per hour (Night Shift) – Shift: 3 days on and 2 days off rotation each week (12-hour days) – Duration: 90 Days, then definite temp-to-hire for permanent employment with a pay raise!

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Operate machinery in the Press and Packaging departments to manufacture laminated veneer lumber (LVL) according to factory-controlled specifications. – Set up and run machines to lay up wood with glue and press it together, forming large boards or "billets" in the Press department. – Cut, coat, stack, and wrap billets into smaller widths in the Packaging department for shipment to customers.

– Collaborate with the team to improve processes and ensure top-notch product quality. – Provide input and suggestions for enhancing efficiency and safety in the production process. – Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

– No previous experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. – Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. – Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. – Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. – Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. – Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
