Position Summary
Hexcel is seeking a Packaging Associate in Burlington, WA, primarily on 3rd shift. No prior experience required; on‑site training will be provided. The successful candidate will be paid an hourly rate of $20.96 – $28.50, with full‑time benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays and paid time off, and flexible work schedules.
Responsibilities- Interface with production employees to determine upcoming shipping requirements and communicate these to the shipping and receiving lead.
- Coordinate and assist in packaging products to ensure proper labeling and counts as required.
- Visually inspect parts for damage and proper identification tags.
- Label all boxes with accurate handling and delivery information.
- Coordinate information about size/weight of packages to support proper shipping classification.
- Assemble boxes, crates and similar items for shipments.
- Load trucks for delivery.
- Support plant safety and quality objectives.
- Stable work history, preferably in manufacturing, and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability to work all shifts, including 3rd shift.
- High school diploma or GED (verification may be required).
- Post‑offer drug test and physical examination will be required.
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, lift up to 25lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally; ability to lift large tools or boxes up to 35lbs.
- Manual dexterity, reach with hands/arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed.
- Strong close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Competence operating power tools and machines with moving parts.
