We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our low-volume, high-mix (LVHM) manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead a highly skilled team of long-tenured machinists and CNC operators, bringing complex engineering vision to life.

Lead & Empower:
Direct daily machine shop operations, mentoring and optimizing a team of talented machinists and CNC operators.

Execute High-Precision Projects:
Oversee the fabrication of complex, tight-tolerance custom components for critical space and defense applications.

Bridge Engineering & Production:
Partner closely with engineering teams to interpret complex drawings, troubleshoot machining challenges, and streamline manufacturability.

Drive Continuous Improvement:
Facilitate Kaizen events and Lean initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce downtime, and maintain elite quality standards.

Manage Operations & Workflow:
Utilize ERP systems to coordinate production schedules, manage capacity, and uphold rigorous safety and quality protocols.

Machining Expertise: 5+ years of leadership experience in a precision machine shop or low-volume, high-mix (LVHM) manufacturing environment.

Technical Mastery:
Deep knowledge of CNC programming/operations, tooling, materials, and custom fixture design for complex parts.

Process Improvement:
Demonstrated track record of implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality and throughput and a passion for 5S.

Systems Familiarity:
Experience with ERP/production management software (Infor Cloud Suite Industrial/Syteline or Net Suite preferred).

Education &

Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent hands‑on industry experience;
Lean/Six Sigma or HSE certifications are a plus.
