Location:

Burlington, Everett, and Mount Vernon, Washington, United States.

Pay Range: $20.77 – $21.77 per hour.

Our Merchandisers play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing. After the Delivery team delivers product to the store, a Merchandiser will stock and rotate our beverages so they are ready to sell. This position works closely with the Delivery, Sales, and retail partners to provide exceptional customer service.

• Work product from store back stock and/or delivery loads—handling cases, bottles, and cans of beer, wine, spirits, and non‑alcoholic beverages for sale or storage, including filling and rotating product in cold boxes, on dry shelves, and building and maintaining displays with POS as necessary.
• Drive personal vehicle on an assigned route;
  Merchandisers do not transport any product in personal vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts and develop positive, cooperative, team‑oriented relationships with co‑workers, supervisors, managers, and others.
• Engage in direct communication with store personnel and Sales teammates to effectively complete account services.
• Accurately clock in and out of the required time‑keeping application, adhering to state labor laws for breaks.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Core Values at all times.
• Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and with a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet productivity deadlines through effective organizational and time‑management skills.

This job operates in our accounts, mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.

• Lift/carry 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 60 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 100 lbs. using a manual cart or pallet jack.
• Bend, stoop, crouch, squat, use arms, wrists, hands, and grasp.
• Climb stairs.
• Work indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle for driving positions.
• Must be able to operate manual, non‑powered equipment.

This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work vary and may include overtime as necessary. Must be available to work both weekend days.

Local travel required; regional travel may be requested.

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required for driving positions.
• Must own and be able to operate a mobile smart phone device.

• Previous grocery or retail experience.

• Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
