Responsibilities- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing automotive parts, providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair needs
- Manage inventory levels using systems to ensure stock accuracy and availability
- Process sales transactions accurately through POS systems, including cash handling and billing procedures
- Stock shelves, organize parts displays, and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Handle order fulfillment efficiently to meet customer demands and deadlines
- Support vehicle maintenance activities by providing parts for repair jobs and ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers and vendors
- Collaborate with sales management to promote parts sales through marketing initiatives and upselling techniques
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts to prevent stock discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Previous experience in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, or automotive service is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively using systems like CMMS or similar software
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer interaction experience
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered an asset for serving diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of retail math, sales management, POS systems, and retail sales procedures
- Familiarity with dealership operations, inventory control, stocking, order fulfillment, and marketing strategies
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software for reporting and documentation purposes
- Strong math skills for handling retail math calculations and inventory management tasks:li>
- Ability to work well in a team environment with good negotiation skills for upselling opportunities
- Previous dealership experience or retail sales background is highly desirable
