Munson Boats is seeking a Marine Mechanic to join our team in manufacturing welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients, including fire/rescue boats, research vessels, high-speed patrol boats, USCG-certified passenger boats, and more. Our boats are assembled in a state‑of‑the‑art production facility with radiant floor heat providing a comfortable work environment throughout the year.

This is a full‑time opportunity with a four‑day workweek (Monday – Thursday, 10‑hour shifts), allowing for a great work‑life balance with a three day weekend every week.

You will join a crew of 3-4 persons who will be responsible for outfitting a highly customized vessel to final completion. Key Responsibilities- Install and integrate mechanical, electrical, navigation, communication, propulsion and plumbing systems using all brand new components.
- Work with diesel and gasoline engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, HVAC, and fuel systems.
- Assemble and install steering, control systems, and marine hardware.
- Read installation instructions and interpret schematics and system diagrams.
- Ensure systems meet safety, performance, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems installation.
- Knowledge of engines, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
- Four‑day work week. Monday – Thursday with every Friday off.
