Craft High‑Performance Aluminum Vessels with Munson Boats Step into our state‑of‑the‑art production facility—complete with radiant floor heat—and join a tight, 3–4 person build crew turning raw aluminum into mission‑ready boats used around the world. Under the guidance of a lead supervisor, you’ll help construct highly customized welded aluminum vessels that serve fire/rescue teams, research programs, high‑speed patrol units, and USCG‑certified passenger operations.

A Day in the Shop It’s Monday morning on a four‑day workweek. You meet with your crew, review drawings, and get to work. You’re laying clean, strong beads; fitting hulls and decks to tight tolerances; assembling fuel tanks; and verifying every component against technical drawings. By late afternoon, the workspace is reset—clean, organized, and ready for tomorrow.

What You’ll DoExecute precise aluminum welding that meets demanding structural and aesthetic standards

Fabricate and assemble hulls, decks, fuel tanks, and associated components

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Achieve accurate fit‑ups and apply correct welding techniques for each joint

Keep a tidy, organized work area to support efficiency and safety

Collaborate within a 3–4 person crew under a lead supervisor to deliver each build

Schedule

Full‑time with a four‑day workweek (Monday–Thursday, 10‑hour shifts) so you enjoy a three‑day weekend every week.
