Position: Facilities Technician I/II          at Legend Brands        in        Burlington,        Washington

Facilities Technician I/II

Legend Brands is a growing multi-vertical manufacturer serving restoration, cleaning, and construction professionals; performance automotive cooling markets; fish hatchery and aquaculture operations; through a portfolio of industry-leading brands including Dri-Eaz, Mediclean, UnSmoke, OdorX, Sapphire Scientific, Prochem, Chemspec, Flex-A-Lite, and Mari source. Legend Brands is hiring for Facilities Technician I/II at our Burlington, WA location. This position is on the swing shift working Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - 12:00 am.

There is a $2.00 per hour shift differential for this position. Under general supervision, the Facilities Technician I/II is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, repair, and operation of the Legend Brands facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Maintain building performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, and other related maintenance activities
  • Maintain exterior of facility, clean parking areas, pressure wash, paint touch up and other activities related to the maintenance of the exterior grounds
  • Assists in cleaning and sanitizing buildings including cleaning carpets and hard floor surfaces when needed and maintains mechanical systems and other operations as required
  • Provides general interior maintenance; hangs pictures, repairs office furniture systems, repairs doors; moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other items as needed
  • Assists the Facilities Team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment as directed
  • Services and maintains assigned equipment and makes minor mechanical adjustments and repairs on related equipment such as checking/servicing fuel, oil, coolant levels, tire pressure, and general appearance; takes necessary steps to bring equipment up to operating standard. Support tooling readiness for new parts and products Facilities Technician II classification requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience, knowledge, and competent demonstration of the following
  • Perform ongoing preventative and repair response work on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, installed systems, equipment, and other components
  • Managing multiple projects
  • Performing preventative maintenance practices individually or as part of a team
  • Solid understanding of plumbing, electrical, and basic construction processes

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with carpet cleaning and/or floor care and refinishing is desired
  • General understanding of the facilities and the impact facility maintenance has on daily operations
  • Proper use of necessary tools, equipment, and PPE
  • Material Handling and Storage MSD

Requirements within 6 months of hire (if not currently certified):

  • Forklift Certification
  • Lock Out Tag Out
  • Aerial Lift Operation

Hiring Range:

Between $22.00 - $28.25/hour DOE + $2.00 per hour shift differential
