The Target Pay Range for this position is $26.00-$32.12 hourly. Compensation decisions consider relevant job‑related skills, experience, education, or training.

As a Member Consultant II, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless and high‑quality member experience, diagnosing and addressing members’ consumer financial needs and referring them to specialized services when necessary. You will be a subject‑matter expert, resolving members’ needs and providing specialized financial services expertise.
What You’ll Do Exceptional Member Experience and Sales Consultation- Utilize product knowledge to provide excellent customer service and sales across business services, consumer lending, deposit servicing, IRA, POA, and Fiduciary accounts.
- Sign all line and loan documents that originate through outbound/inbound call center, ensuring each Member’s needs are fulfilled.
- Assist customers with financial wellness programs, budgeting, debt management, or access to financial planning resources.
- Pod Branches:
Bellingham, Burlington - Location support based on business needs
- Rotation
Required:
work across all pod branches for first year or more — core expectation - One‑Year Commitment: remain in this role for a minimum of one year before other opportunities
- Training: includes travel to the Tukwila Financial Center

commute between branches & training location - Flexibility
Required:
schedules given 30 days in advance but may adapt to varying schedules
- 12 weeks, Monday–Friday
- Flexible shifts 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Flexible shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Up to 3 Saturdays per month, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a sales‑oriented, financial, or retail environment
- One year of experience in a financial institution
- Spanish language fluency highly desirable
- Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently
- Strong proficiency and comfort with learning new systems and programs; ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Ability to successfully complete 12‑week in‑house training program after hire
- Comprehensive understanding of credit union key objectives, products, and service solutions
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to membership, deposit, and loan products
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills to enable daily communication with members
- Problem resolution, negotiating, organization, multi‑tasking and peer coaching skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts
