- Operate a flatbed truck; training provided
- Operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift; training provided
- Load and unload storage containers for delivery
- Transport storage containers to and from customers' homes and businesses on local routes
- Ensure customers are provided with friendly and courteous service
- Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
- Clean motor vehicle driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Department of Transportation certification
- Commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to operate a flatbed truck
- Ability to operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift
- Ability to move a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors and use protective clothing or gear as required
Demonstrates the ability to operate a flatbed truck and an 8000-lb propane forklift, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of storage containers. Provides excellent customer service while adhering to Department of Transportation regulations and maintaining a clean driving record.
