Warehouse Supervisor
Coordinates Transportation:
Ensures prompt and proper movement of inbound and outbound shipments. Manages Logistics:
Oversees shipping, receiving (piece parts and repairs), packing, and inventory management. Maintains Records:
Keeps departmental records for manufacturing ISO compliance. Monitors Inventory:
Tracks inventory levels and orders supplies as needed. Assists Warehouse Manager:
Provides staff support to the Warehouse Manager. Oversees Stock Availability:
Monitors stock to reduce shortages. Identifies Improvements:
Suggests solutions for process enhancements. Creates Documentation:
Develops and maintains logistic process documentation. Liaises with Departments:
Communicates with internal departments regarding stock management. Prepares Shipping Documents:
Creates international shipping documentation as required.
Requirements
· Communicates Effectively:
Interacts with warehouse workers, purchasing, and vendors. Understands Inventory Control:
Has a basic understanding of inventory procedures. Possesses Keyboarding
Skills:
Is proficient in keyboarding. Is Organized:
Works with minimal supervision and is highly organized. Performs Math Calculations:
Can perform basic math calculations. Education/
Experience:
Requires a High School Diploma/equivalent, one year of supervisory experience, and two years of warehouse experience (or a combination of education and experience). Benefits Compensation:
Offers $30-$35/hr salary and benefits including PTO, 401(k), insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
