Beds: 3 ORs

Inpatient, outpatient, ER
General, GYN, ENT, Urology, Ortho, Podiatry, Vascular
Pediatrics are seen with ENT; peds are usually done once per week (5-10% of case load); experience with peds preferred
Certifications:
RN: ACLS, BLS
CST: BLS, CST
RN: must be able to circulate, able to make critical, independent decisions, able to collaborate with others, multi-tasking, able to recognize situational changes that require unanticipated interventions.
CST: knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques, knowledge of various types of surgical equipment
Charge Nurse – does not take assignment
Surgeon there during the day/on call after cases are through
Anesthesia there for cases/on call after cases
Surgery scheduler during the day
OR aid works as secretary
EPIC – required
Pyxis
Alaris
Will Float to 2 other sites:
Southern Lakes
Lakeland
Will get a schedule every week to show where they will float to that week
1-3 shift based on comfort
Scheduling:Can we approve time off? – Go through manager
Holidays: 1 Summer, 1 Winter
Every 6th weekend, Friday afternoon-Monday morning
1 night a week
Response time is 30 minutes
