Skilled Labor - Trades, American Bin & Conveyor is looking for Fabrication Welder/Fitters to join our 1st-shift manufacturing team in Burlington, Wisconsin. Our Welder/Fitters work from fabrication drawings to layout, fit and weld structural steel components used in custom conveyors, structures and bulk material handling equipment. This is a multi-skilled fabrication position requiring attention to detail, strong measuring skills and the ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.

- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Measure, layout, fit and tack steel components.
- Weld in flat, vertical and overhead positions to produce completed assemblies according to fabrication drawings.
- Use grinders, torches and common fabrication tools.
- Inspect work for proper fit, dimensions, weld quality and defects.
- Safely move and position steel components and fabricated assemblies.
- Follow company safety policies, quality requirements and safe work practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous on-the-job welding and/or steel fabrication experience in a manufacturing, fabrication or industrial shop environment preferred.
- Experience reading and interpreting fabrication drawings/blueprints.
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
- Experience with layout, measuring and fitting steel components.
- Ability to inspect fabricated parts prior to welding.
- Fitting and structural steel fabrication experience preferred.
- Overhead crane and rigging experience preferred.
- AWS D1.1 welding experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
