Work within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders and assets, including work order creation, updates, review, and closure.
Schedule daily work, including building daily vendor escorting schedules, customer communications, tracking and reporting of metric data; includes scheduling all vendor service events, collaborating closely to generate quotes, and seeking service reports
Cultivate strong relationships with vendors (escort vendors for onsite service events) and serve as the first point of contact for client concerns
Conduct cleaning and disinfection of laboratory equipment.
Embody safety culture and promote a safe work environment.
Follow procedures and successfully apply good documentation practices in regulated record keeping.
Education
Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a laboratory or scientific environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Outstanding communication, and organizational skills
Dedication to delivering strictly high-quality service
Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach in all duties
Detail oriented, technically proficient, problem solver, promotes team environment
Willingness to work overtime as the need arises
Computer/software skills ( Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Works in an office environment, including cubicles, and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations, and laboratory environments. Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment may be worn ( lab coat, safety glasses). Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
