YOU can be our next Mailroom Clerk in our Business Support Services Division. This position will be based out of our Burnaby Still Creek Head Office.

Requirements

  • Works effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Organized and detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining a clean, professional work environment

  • Basic proficiency with MS Word and Outlook

  • Able to lift articles overhead up to 40 lbs, push mail carts, and move file boxes

  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday

  • A Day in the Life

  • Sort, scan, and route incoming mail to appropriate departments

  • Sort incoming cheques and provide hard copies to appropriate staff members

  • Preparing Carrier Letters

  • Open, sort, and process incoming and outgoing Canada Post and ICS courier mail

  • Prepare bank deposits and post office letters

  • Provide receptionist relief: answer calls, process faxes and payments, manage incoming/outgoing couriers

  • Order and maintain office supplies

  • Maintain clean and tidy kitchen areas throughout the day

  • Participate in cross-training for various roles and other duties as assigned
