Support essential healthcare services as a Nursing Unit Clerk with The Salvation Army. You will play a critical role in organizing and managing information, enhancing resident care every day.
Your responsibilities will include performing reception tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth communications within the unit. This position demands efficient clerical skills and the ability to interact positively with residents and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle reception duties, including inquiries and visitor management
• Maintain financial records and trust accounts for residents
• Execute clerical duties such as record keeping and supply management
• Schedule appointments and assist with resident transportation
• Monitor communication from patient call signals
Requirements:
• High School diploma with Nursing Unit Clerk certification
• One year of relevant experience is preferred
• Keyboarding skills of 50 wpm
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in various computer software
