This role involves serving as a critical link between the public and the Municipal department. You will operate a small switchboard, screen calls, and assist with inquiries. Routine clerical duties, including typing from rough drafts and maintaining office records, will also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate switchboard and screen incoming calls
• Connect callers to the appropriate department
• Provide information to the public effectively
• Maintain various office records and statistics
• Perform routine typing and clerical work
Requirements:
• High school graduation or equivalent training
• Experience with switchboard operation
• Strong communication skills for public interaction
• Ability to handle clerical tasks and office equipment
• Must obtain RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance
