Step into a dynamic role as an Admissions Assistant s full-time position emphasizes customer service and clerical support for the Admissions department.
As a temporary, full-time Admissions Assistant, you will be part of BCIT's Registrar’s Office. Your responsibilities include addressing applicant inquiries, managing documentation, and collaborating on document imaging tasks. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, enabling them to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to inquiries via phone and email
• Maintain applicant files and update records
• Provide clerical support such as photocopying and sorting
• Facilitate documents scanning and quality checks
• Prepare admissions packages as needed
Requirements:
•
Education:
Grade 12 and 1 year post-secondary
•
Experience:
Two years in an office environment
• Software proficiency: MS Office; knowledge of BANNER is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
