Our client, a well-established leader in high-end residential, multi-family, and commercial construction, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented  Operations Coordinator  to join their team. This role is critical to ensuring smooth project delivery through accurate documentation, cross-functional coordination, and support of project and accounting operations. Burnaby, BC

Expected Salary Range:  $60,000 - 75,000 per year

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and document control support across multiple construction projects

Maintain and organize project documentation, including files, logs, drawings, and specifications

Track project milestones, schedules, and key financial deadlines

Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record and distribute minutes

Enter and manage project data within project control and management systems

Support Accounts Payable and Receivable data entry in collaboration with the Accounting Manager

Prepare purchase requisitions and assist with procurement activities

Coordinate and track material orders, deliveries, and labour across job sites

Act as a primary point of contact, communicating updates with internal teams and external stakeholders

Contribute to process improvements and provide general administrative support throughout the project lifecycle

Assist with other related duties, as required

Requirements

5+ years of administrative and/or project coordination experience

Experience in construction services or a related industry is considered an asset

Strong understanding of office procedures and administrative best practices

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and MS Project

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail with a process-driven approach to work

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude with flexibility to work extended hours as required to meet project timelines
