Location: New Westminster
Lead shift scheduling and operations as a Shift Coordinator s position is vital for maintaining effective staffing and ensuring high-quality service for residents in long-term care.
In the Shift Coordinator role at Age Care, you will manage the daily scheduling needs, book shifts, and maintain attendance records essential for operational continuity. Your organizational skills and experience will directly contribute to a supportive environment for staff and residents alike. You will also work closely with management to ensure minimal agency use and maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely filling of all shifts as required
• Manage sick time and time attendance records
• Liaise with unit clerks and administrative staff
• Generate reports and daily assignment sheets
• Input data accurately in Kronos system
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of scheduling experience preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience in a unionized healthcare setting is a plus
• Strong analytical and verbal communication abilities
Drive staffing efficiency and enhance resident care quality at Age Care.
