Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Business Administration
Our client, a well-established leader in high-end residential, multi-family, and commercial construction, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join their team. This role is critical to ensuring smooth project delivery through accurate documentation, cross-functional coordination, and support of project and accounting operations. Location: Burnaby, BC
Expected Salary Range: $60,000 - 75,000 per year
Responsibilities- Provide administrative and document control support across multiple construction projects
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including files, logs, drawings, and specifications
- Track project milestones, schedules, and key financial deadlines
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record and distribute minutes
- Enter and manage project data within project control and management systems
- Support Accounts Payable and Receivable data entry in collaboration with the Accounting Manager
- Prepare purchase requisitions and assist with procurement activities
- Coordinate and track material orders, deliveries, and labour across job sites
- Act as a primary point of contact, communicating updates with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements and provide general administrative support throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist with other related duties, as required
- 5+ years of administrative and/or project coordination experience
- Experience in construction services or a related industry is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of office procedures and administrative best practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and MS Project
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with a process-driven approach to work
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with flexibility to work extended hours as required to meet project timelines
