Match Box Consulting Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant on behalf of the largest utility provider in British Columbia. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional to provide high‑level support to senior leadership and project teams while working in a collaborative environment based in Burnaby, BC.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate calendars, meetings, appointments, and schedules for senior leadership.
Prepare and draft professional correspondence, emails, meeting agendas, and other business communications.
Support financial administration activities, including expense processing, accounts payable documentation, budget coordination, and record management.
Coordinate events and meetings involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Provide administrative support to project teams and business groups to help achieve operational objectives.
Research and develop solutions to administrative challenges and provide recommendations to management.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure information is handled with discretion and professionalism.
Prepare status reports and support documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of office administration experience or equivalent.
Advanced typing skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities for managers or leadership teams.
Experience organizing medium to large‑scale events involving multiple stakeholders.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Post‑secondary education in Office Administration or a business‑related discipline.
Experience working in the utility industry.
Experience supporting large organizations or complex project environments.
Work Environment
