Position: Document Administrator (Temporary - 6 Months)

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Format and publish HSE procedures, forms, and templates in Microsoft Word to Norland’s document control layout, style, and numbering standards.
  • Build and maintain reusable Word templates with locked styles, correct heading hierarchies, and controlled placeholder structure.
  • Apply consistent document metadata (document IDs, revision history tables, approval blocks, headers/footers).
  • Receive redlined or draft content from HSE and Operations and return publication‑ready documents.
  • Identify and flag formatting inconsistencies across the document library.
Qualifications & Skills
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting projects in an administrative, coordination, or project support capacity.
  • Post‑secondary diploma/degree in Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including styles, templates, section breaks, headers/footers, tracked changes, and mail merge.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to apply a defined standard consistently.
  • Familiarity with document control concepts (revision control, naming conventions, controlled distribution).
  • Organized and self‑directed, with the ability to manage multiple documents simultaneously.
Compensation

6‑month fixed‑term, full‑time position with a starting salary range of $52,000 to $60,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive total rewards package including extended health and dental plans fully paid by the company, paid time off, and RRSP matching.
