Eco Logic is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Communications and Office Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will promote creative and collaborative solutions in digital communications and social media management, with strong writing and editing abilities. This role will support both the communications and administrative responsibilities in a variety of logistical, purchasing and organizational tasks.

Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
Communications and Writing- Contribute to the preparation of proposals, reports, summaries, presentations, and other project deliverables.
- Provide editing, copy editing, proofreading, and technical writing support across a variety of projects and communications materials.
- Research, develop, and enhance Eco Logic’s social media presence and digital communications.
- Create, schedule, and manage content across social media and digital platforms.
- Maintain and update company website content as required.
- Perform general office administration, logistics coordination, purchasing, and organizational support tasks.
- Assist management and staff in production related activities and day-to-day operational needs.
- Coordinate office upkeep, supplies, equipment, and related administrative functions.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize workload across multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Work closely with environmental and archaeology teams, administrative staff, project managers, and other team members to support project success.
- Foster a welcoming and professional office environment for employees, clients, and visitors in person, over the phone, and through digital communications.
- Proficiency in technical, research, academic, or professional writing and editing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a business, communications, or science communications role.
- Experience with social media management and digital content creation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and related IT support.
- Experience supporting office administration, assets, and infrastructure management.
- Valid driver's license.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Customer service oriented.
Preferences will be given to candidates with post secondary education in communications, archaeology, anthropology, environmental science, or Indigenous studies.
Compensation and Schedule- $23–$26 per hour, depending on experience.
- Full-time position, 35 hours per week.
- In-office position based in Burnaby, BC.
