Detailed Overview

This position is responsible for coordinating the development of facility‑wide services and/or initiatives, focusing on seeking and developing efficiencies within site services. You will work collaboratively with assigned project planning teams on facilities/site planning and capital‑related projects, providing leadership, coordination, implementation and evaluation of a collaborative service delivery model. You will work closely with all support service teams to support and enhance integration linkages at the service delivery point of contact, engaging in a variety of projects and initiatives that meet established strategic plans and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the redesign and restructuring of operational systems, strategies and processes such as designing space allocation that meets strategic and operational service plans to achieve maximum efficiency and quality while improving overall service delivery.
  • Collaborate with all Support Services across Fraser Health, BISS, HSSBC related to integration of regional objectives to ensure strong linkages of service delivery, embedding system thinking principles into service delivery.
  • Correlate and provide oversight to pre‑approved equipment requests from both programs and site, ensuring approvals are reviewed by stakeholders and selected items are purchased and received. Serve as liaison from site to Purchasing as required.
  • Monitor expenditures within the approved budget and identify efficiencies, promoting optimal use of resources. Make recommendations on current and future programs and service adjustments from a site perspective.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of multi‑disciplinary quality improvement processes; coordinate services and programs to reduce gaps in service, duplication of service, and ensure the right interface for excellence in customer service.
  • Ensure that appropriate quality and safety measures are in place and compatible with industry standards and accreditation bodies; notify appropriate regional disciplines of any breach in compliance.
  • Promote and facilitate excellence in communication with internal and external contacts and clients, responding to and resolving customer service problems and encouraging customer involvement in making recommendations.
  • Coordinate the renovation process of design development and contract preparation by liaising with Facility Planning project consultants and various User Groups for assigned projects.
  • Prepare site project feasibility studies for small jobs, including documenting functional programs and total project cost estimates, ensuring working drawings are consistent with the project scope.
