Stantec’s Environmental Services (ES) North America (NA) team is seeking to fill a Digital Practice Manager position as part of our Digital Practice Team (DPT). This position is NA wide covering ES projects in Canada and the United States. The overall mission of the ES DPT is to facilitate and manage the creation of digital assets, tools, and innovative solutions to support our diverse portfolio of clients and projects.
We are seeking a candidate who will leverage project management expertise and bring a solid understanding of industry technology to create a stronger connected data environment with standard operating procedures and policies.
- Lead the Business Case Analysis (BCA) process for ES NA digital ideas or projects, including creating BCAs with written descriptions and financial analysis.
- Track BCA approvals, including meetings with ES NA Leadership.
- Work with Project Accounting Teams to set up cost accumulation projects in US and CA BCs.
- Progress reporting and financial accounting.
- Set up One Drive / collaboration folders to consolidate documentation / approvals.
- Lead the Request for New Technology Solution (RTS) process for ES NA, reviewing RTS Planner and providing receipt confirmations within ~24 hours.
- Create BCAs for new requests with written descriptions and financial analysis, even for open source or free software.
- Monitor and maintain RTS Tracker through approval stages.
- Manage ES NA Software Assets: work with Procurement staff and BC leaders for license renewals, manage MS Copilot licenses, serve as point of contact for procurement questions, coordinate with PTSG, maintain inventory, report counts and cost.
- Manage ES NA Digital Ideas: lead cross‑functional coordination to promote consistency between Resource Teams and the DPT, solicit business needs and process/technology improvement opportunities, work with Technical Excellence leaders to define data/technology roadmaps, confirm BCAs align with roadmaps, assist with reporting standards and policies.
- Support Digital Business Center Operations Leader as requested.
- People Manager: manage and mentor assigned staff on the ES NA Digital Practice Team.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional services experience, including required experience in environmental consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, computer science, data/information management, information systems, business, or a related field.
- Technology or Data Certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft certifications, data governance credentials) helpful but not required.
Typical office environment: working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency:
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
