Overview
Business Process Analyst – Business Transformation Team (Burnaby).
Responsibilities- Analyze and design business processes by assessing current state workflows and creating scalable, efficient future state processes.
- Drive process standardization and governance across business lines, ensuring alignment between process design, policies, and execution.
- Develop clear process documentation including process maps, workflows, SOPs, and supporting materials.
- Align processes with systems and data needs by translating business requirements into system and process improvements in partnership with Data, AI, and technical teams.
- Enable change and continuous improvement through stakeholder engagement, training, adoption support, performance measurement, and ongoing optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or project‑based environments is an asset.
- Solid process analysis, mapping, and documentation skills; proficiency with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Scribe.
- Hands‑on experience applying process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to complex workflows.
- Proven ability to translate complex processes into practical, scalable solutions, supported by strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid data literacy and understanding of how processes impact data quality and insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competitive salary range of $85,000 – $105,000 per year plus a total compensation package.
