Business Process Analyst

Overview

Business Process Analyst – Business Transformation Team (Burnaby).

• Analyze and design business processes by assessing current state workflows and creating scalable, efficient future state processes.
• Drive process standardization and governance across business lines, ensuring alignment between process design, policies, and execution.
• Develop clear process documentation including process maps, workflows, SOPs, and supporting materials.
• Align processes with systems and data needs by translating business requirements into system and process improvements in partnership with Data, AI, and technical teams.
• Enable change and continuous improvement through stakeholder engagement, training, adoption support, performance measurement, and ongoing optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.
• Experience in construction, engineering, or project‑based environments is an asset.
• Solid process analysis, mapping, and documentation skills; proficiency with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Scribe.
• Hands‑on experience applying process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to complex workflows.
• Proven ability to translate complex processes into practical, scalable solutions, supported by strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Solid data literacy and understanding of how processes impact data quality and insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
