THE ROLE

The role of Senior Specialist/Specialist, Trade & Customs, involves the following responsibilities:

  • Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day‑to‑day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
  • Strategically develop Aritzia’s trade and customs approach to uphold our competitive advantage.
  • Adhere to laws and regulations that ensure goods are imported, exported, and declared correctly.
  • Minimize Aritzia’s duty liability while optimizing our cash flow.
  • Manage the seamless execution of our day‑to‑day business and initiatives.
THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Specialist/Senior Specialist, Trade & Customs, has:

  • Trade & Customs environment or relevant industry experience
  • Experience in an operations environment as an importer
  • CA CCS designation is an asset
  • US CSS, CTCS, and CSCMP designation is an asset
  • Retail/Apparel industry experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross‑functional partners
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business
THE COMPENSATION

At Aritzia, we provide market‑leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay‑for‑performance philosophy. The range for roles at this level is $50,000 - $150,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
