As a Childcare Floater, you are pivotal in supporting individual children's needs by applying the BC Early Learning Framework and ECEBC Code of Ethics. Collaborate closely with the childcare team while engaging in operational duties and promoting a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity. Be prepared to adapt to varying circumstances and demonstrate flexibility as you work with young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure child safety and individual care during activities

• Cover shifts and assist other Early Childhood Educators

• Clean and sanitize work areas, toys, and equipment

• Supervise children effectively both indoors and outdoors

• Support parents as primary caregivers throughout the process

Requirements:

• Active Early Childhood Educator license is a must

• Criminal record check must be renewed every 5 years

• Valid First Aid Certificate required ongoing

• Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physical tasks

• Knowledge on handling challenging behaviors
