Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia seeks an Events Coordinator in Burnaby to deliver exceptional event experiences. Join a dynamic team to plan and manage various organizational events until June 2027.
This position focuses on supporting events such as the Annual Conference and other EDI gatherings. By coordinating logistics, managing volunteer efforts, and collaborating with various stakeholders, you will help create meaningful connections in the engineering and geoscience communities.
Your role ensures high-quality event delivery and enhances participant engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and support a range of professional events
• Manage logistics for the Annual Conference
• Assist with planning mentoring and student events
• Oversee registration and event material setup
• Provide tracking and reporting for event success
Requirements:
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in event coordination
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar
• Strong skills in customer service and communication
• Experience in project management and collaboration
• Familiarity with event reporting metrics
