Graphic Designer

Hi there! We're Aykah Furniture () and we're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our in-person team!

As a Graphic Designer at Aykah, you will help create the imagery and graphics that bring our brand to life across our website, online marketplaces, social media, email, advertising, and marketing campaigns.

• Produce on-brand product and lifestyle imagery for our website, marketplaces, and marketing campaigns.
• Edit, retouch, and refine images to meet Aykah’s brand and quality standards.
• Use established templates and workflows to produce consistent creative assets at volume.
• Create and refine imagery using AI-assisted image tools while maintaining strong creative judgement and attention to quality.

• Design graphics for social media, email campaigns, digital advertising, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
• Produce e-commerce and marketplace assets, including Amazon listing images and A+ Content.
• Apply Aykah’s brand system and design guidelines consistently across all projects.
• Support the internal teams with recurring design and production needs.
• Take ownership of routine production tasks, while assisting with larger strategic projects.

• Review creative briefs and complete projects accurately and on time.
• Manage recurring tasks with minimal oversight.
• Maintain organized design files, templates, and asset libraries.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and collaborate throughout the design and review process.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• A portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design and image-production skills. School, freelance, internship, or personal projects are welcome.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or equivalent software.
• A strong understanding of composition, colour, typography, layout, and visual detail.
• Hands-on experience creating or refining imagery using AI-assisted image tools.
• The creative judgement needed to guide AI-assisted outputs and bring them to a professional standard.
• The ability to follow brand guidelines, templates, and established workflows closely.
• A reliable and organized approach to recurring production work.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
• The ability to receive feedback and apply revisions thoughtfully.
• Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

• Experience with Shopify, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer brands.
• Familiarity with Amazon marketplace content, including listing images and A+ Content.
• Basic skills in photo retouching, motion design, or photography.
• An interest in furniture, interiors, home décor, or lifestyle brands.

Aykah is a growing Canadian furniture brand focused on thoughtful design, honest materials, and fair prices. You will work closely with the Marketing & Design team while gaining hands-on experience across e-commerce, marketplace, advertising, and brand design projects.

Pay: $30-$35 per hour
