Become a Music Technology Student Assistant at Douglas College's New Westminster Campus. Collaborate with faculty and peers while gaining experience in event preparation and technical support.
This part-time role is perfect for students in the Music Technology Program seeking to strengthen their career prospects. Your responsibilities will include setting up and managing recording equipment and helping with event publicity. Working alongside diverse groups will develop your collaborative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of concert equipment
• Help maintain and check inventory of music technology gear
• Contribute to publicity efforts for technology events
• Maintain cleanliness in studio spaces and equipment
• Collaborate with the Music Technology Technician
Requirements:
• Preferably enrolled in the Music Technology Program
• Experience with sound and recording technology is a plus
• Meet domestic or international student work requirements
• Ability to work a maximum of 20 hours weekly
• Social Insurance Number must be provided
