Ritchie Bros. is looking for a motivated Senior Financial Analyst in Burnaby, BC, focusing on precise financial reporting and strategic analysis. Contribute to compliance and process improvements while engaging with key stakeholders.
In this role, you'll report to the Senior Manager and work closely with Financial Control, Legal, and Tax teams to ensure accurate and timely disclosures. Your 3-5+ years in accounting, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of SEC regulations will empower you to assess business trends and support corporate initiatives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver financial analysis to support senior management
• Oversee SEC and SEDAR+ disclosures and submissions
• Prepare reconciliations and month-end journal entries
• Engage in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Partner with cross-functional teams for reporting requirements
Requirements:
• CPA or equivalent accounting designation
• Experience of 3–5+ years in public reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
• Comprehension of US GAAP and SEC requirements
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
