CPA Fund Accountant in British Columbia

Join our dynamic Fund Operations Team as a Fund Accountant in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Your role will focus on providing accurate financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

In this position, you’ll gain deep insights into fund operations while supporting critical functions like fund valuations and fee payments. You will prepare financial statements ensuring compliance, provide essential information to stakeholders, and lead improvement projects. Your collaboration with IT will enhance our operational efficiencies and provide you with valuable experience in the investment services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate security pricing and reconciliations

• Prepare and review annual financial statements

• Provide timely information to fund stakeholders

• Address and resolve stakeholder queries promptly

• Lead process improvement initiatives and product launches

Requirements:

• Completion of CPA program or equivalent

• At least 2 years’ experience in public accounting

• Eagerness to learn about the investment industry

• Big 4 experience is highly regarded

• Strong teamwork capabilities with IT developers
