As a Finance and Accounting Specialist, you will lead daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger tasks. Your expertise will shape budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models, while ensuring compliance with Canadian tax regulations. Collaboration with external accountants and involvement in fundraising activities are key elements of this impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Develop budgets and cash flow models

• Support investor reporting and financial analysis

• Ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• 3+ years of finance or accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards

• Familiarity with payroll systems

• CPA designation in progress is an asset
